EATON’S CENTRE
Only a 10 minute walk from the hotel, Canada’s 3rd largest mall offers a wide array of shops, restaurants and services sure to please everyone. Considered a tourist attraction, the Eaton’s Centre is open on most statutory holidays.
CN TOWER
A 25 minute walk or 10 minute ride on the subway will bring you to one of Toronto’s most famous landmarks. Officially the tallest free standing structure in the world, this attraction offers guests the ability to view the city from high atop, or those who are brave can take a walk on the glass floor where all that separates you from the ground is a pane of glass. The CN tower also boasts the 360 revolving restaurant, a bar and lounge, a market café, motion simulator rides and much more.
ROGERS CENTRE
Located directly beside the CN Tower, the Rogers Centre, formerly known as the Skydome is home to the Toronto Blue Jays and Toronto Argonauts. With its fully retractable roof, this is also a popular venue for concerts and shows. Tours are available daily and guests have an opportunity to go behind the scenes and see the inner workings of the stadium. The Rogers Centre also houses the Hard Rock Café and Windows restaurants.
ROYAL ONTARIO MUSEUM
Located only a 20 minute walk away, Canada’s largest museum is home to over 6 million artifacts. With over 40 different galleries its hard to see it all in one day. Children will love the spooky bat caves or the popular dinosaur gallery. Used as a major research facility this educational experience makes science, history and archeology interesting and fun for the whole family. The museum also houses an extensive gift shop and dining areas.
METRO TORONTO ZOO
Located outside the city center, the zoo is a 25 minute drive and is also accessible by TTC. Housing one of the most extensive collection of animals, divided into 7 pavilions, it is easy to spend the entire day walking about. Children will love the interactive play area discovery zone and can enjoy cooling off at the outdoor water park. Or why not take a ride on the zoomobile and see everything.
PARAMOUNT CANADA’S WONDERLAND
Located a 25 minute drive outside Toronto, Wonderland offers thrill-seekers the ultimate in rides and entertainment. With rides and attractions for the entire family. Cool off in the huge water park, or take in one of the many live stage shows.
ONTARIO PLACE
A family favourite, this waterfront park is located only a 15 minute drive from the hotel or easily accessible by TTC. With games, rides, childrens play area, water park, bumper boats and so much more, Ontario Place is sure to offer a great day of fun. Also home to the Molson Amphi-theatre which holds many big name concerts, the night club Atlantis and the IMAX cinema.
AIR CANADA CENTRE
Located a 25 minute walk or 10 minute drive, the ACC as it is known is home to the Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Raptors. Complete with its own micro-brewery, this sports and entertainment stadium is a wonder to see. Tours are offered daily based on venue scheduling.
ONTARIO SCIENCE CENTRE
Located just outside of the city core, the Science Centre offers visitors of all ages a hands on approach to science. Each themed area contains lots of interactive experiments and displays sure to delight all ages. Not only challenging to the body, the Science Centre will challenge your mind.
ART GALLERY OF ONTARIO
Located a 20 minute walk from the hotel, the AGO offers visitors a wide array of contemporary and modern art. From paintings to sculpture to photography, the AGO also holds special displays and exhibits throughout the year.
YORKVILLE
Located just a 15 minute walk north of the hotel, this famous shopping district has been compared to Rodeo Drive. With exclusive boutiques, restaurants and galleries, the Yorkville district is also the perfect place to watch for visiting celebrities who often stop in for a gourmet meal and some shopping.
HABOUR FRONT QUEENS QUAY TERMINAL
